KEA Finds New Home

On Thursday KEA celebrated their move to a permanent office location with community members, parents and educators touring the new space.

The organization temporarily took residence at United Auto Workers Local 72 until officially moving to its new home in the Union Club, 3030 39th Ave., in November.

“We are excited and confident that the new space will allow us to continue the important work of supporting and fighting for educators and students in Kenosha. We are extremely grateful to Retiree Chapter Chair and Local 72 Board member Curt Wilson and everyone at the UAW for being such gracious hosts while we looked for a space that fit our needs. We are proud to now be sharing a building with other labor unions,” KEA President Jill Jensen said.

“We want to thank everyone that came out to support educators at the Open House. Everyone’s support and encouragement helps us continue to make a difference in our Kenosha public schools.”
